10 Power Packed Ways To Boost Your Profits

1. Sell a few back end products that are not related
to your main product but are needed by all humans.
Every customer that buys from you is human.

2. Take on as many of your business' chores as you
can handle; outsource what you can't. Only you can
determine how your business is operated.

3. Try out new business opportunities. You could
combine them with your current business. It could
add an extra profit stream to your web site.

4. Create an alliance with 3 or 4 web sites. Include
each of your ads or banners on the other web sites.
You will all share targeted traffic from each other.

5. Create a free e-zine directory. You'll attract a lot
of traffic from ezine publishers and people that want
to subscribe to the e-zines.

6. When you offer a freebie from your site, submit
it to free stuff sites. They provide target categories
which means targeted traffic.

7. Make your visitors curious about your product
by telling them they need to sign-up to get into a
password protected site to read the rest of the ad.

8. Remember the little things about your web pages
really count. Include the title of your site at the top
right corner, a description about of your site, etc.

9. When you ask someone to sign-up to receive a
freebie, don't ask for really personal information.
This is a fast way to lose a potential prospect.

10. Remember newsgroups are still pretty popular.
You could post your ad in ones that allow it or you
can leave messages with your sig file include.

8 Steps to Irresistible Email Copy Every Time

User photo not available Monday, 01 October 07 - 05:23 AM (GMT)
By Rose Vidal in General
8 Steps to Irresistible Email Copy Every Time
===================================

=> Step #1 - WHO DO YOU THINK YOU`RE TALKING TO?

Before you sit down to write your email sales letter, you`ve
got to determine exactly who your audience is. This is a
master key to getting results from email marketing.

Ask yourself these questions:

- What do your prospects/customers want?
- What frustrates your prospects/customers most?
- Who else is selling something similar to you?
- Why should your prospects/customers believe you?
- Why should prospects/customers respond to you instead of
someone else?
- What kind of appeals will your target market respond to?

=> Step #2 - A GREAT SUBJECT IS YOUR OBJECT

Before an email can generate results, recipients need to
open it.  But what can you do to spark their interest and
get their interest "motor" revved up?

Your SUBJECT LINE is the key.

There are four types of email formulas you can use as a
guide in crafting your email.  Each has a different
PSYCHOLOGICAL APPEAL that works like magic on consumers.
Here are some examples:

- State a powerful benefit - "Empowerism Satisfies Your Need
for Leads"

- Pique curiosity - "Empowerism Has Uncovered the Secrets of
Success"

- Write your subject line with a news angle - "Empowerism
Launches RSVP For Those Who Want to Double Their Money
Fast!"

- Offer Immediate Gratification - "With Empowerism RSVP, you
can start the money wheels turning before the sun goes down
tonight"

Here`s an important "homework assignment":  Write at least
25 SUBJECT LINES before you decide on which one to use. Take
the best two and test them against each other in your
marketing campaign. (Save the "losers" to use for other
purposes or spruce up later.)

=> Step #3 - WHAT`S IN IT FOR THEM?

Sit down and write every conceivable benefit your product
has.  Don`t know the difference between features and
benefits? Features describe the product; benefits describe
the results of using the product.  Features appeal to
logic...logic justifies emotion...emotion drives sales (see
below).

Here`s a rule of thumb for benefits: ask yourself "What can
my product or service do for my customer?"  Then begin to
write your letter telling your reader WHAT`S IN IT FOR THEM.
Tell them how much better life will be for them after they
buy from you. Tell them how much better they`ll feel.  Tell
them how their peers will respect them more.

=> Step #4 - AN EMOTIONAL APPEAL

When promoting anything to anybody, you must remember that
buying decisions are based upon emotion and later backed up
by logic. Before you write a single word, determine what
emotional hot buttons you need to push to "jumpstart" your
prospect.

Selling health supplements?  Go for the "fear of illness"
button with "A Natural Way to Save Your Eyesight."  Selling
political bumper stickers?  Hit the "anger" button with:
"Let the President Know What You Think of His Policies."
Other buttons include: curiosity, greed, ego, vanity, hope,
and/or fear of scarcity or security.

=> Step #5 - A NAME YOU CAN TRUST

To convince people to buy your product or service, you must
make them believe that your offer is credible and that you
(or your product) will deliver as promised.

How do you do that? Here are three ways you can build
credibility with the readers of your sales letter:

- Provide testimonials.
- Include endorsement letters from authority figures in your
industry.
- Make your offer and promises sincere and believable.

=> Step #6 - A GUARANTEE

Nowadays, trying to sell without some type of guarantee is a
losing proposition. You`ve got to have one. And the stronger
your guarantee, the better your response will be.  And,
believe it or not, although most people will NOT ask for a
refund, they`ll trust your offer knowing that you stand
behind it.

You can offer a 24-hour, 30-day, 60-day, 90-day, or even a
full-year.  And here`s an interesting fact: The longer the
time period, the fewer returns you`ll have! It`s human
nature to procrastinate, so the more time someone thinks
they have to get a refund, the more they`ll put it off or
forget about the refund altogether.

=> Step #7 - DON`T FORGET TO ASK

It happens all the time. Someone makes a fantastic sales
presentation, and then doesn`t close the deal because he/she
didn`t clearly ask for the order or made the process
confusing rather than simple.

- From the Research Department:  Statistics show that you
need to ask for the order at least three times to close
substantial sales. (Some studies put the number at 7!)

If you can, offer several ways for your prospects to
order -- consumers love choice.  It tells them, "You`re
talking directly to me and meeting my unique needs."  If you
only offer one way to order, make it crystal clear how AND
how easy it is.  Describe it in detail and ask for the
order. Then ask again.

=> Step #8 - THE EYES HAVE IT

It`s a well-known fact: Large blocks of copy are
intimidating and will often send people running for the
hills or at least the Delete button.

The solution? Break up paragraphs into two to four
sentences. Use several subheadings throughout the email
letter. And use asterisks, dashes, and ellipses (...) to
give your copy more rhythm.  Bullet points are excellent
eye-catchers - use them whenever appropriate.

That`s a wrap for this lesson.  Next time we`ll be saluting
"Triggers."  No, not horses named in honor of Roy Rogers old
steed -- trigger WORDS that will have consumers begging you
to take the money out of their wallets.

Sound good?  Stay tuned!

Sincerely,

Chris Tatro

I find I don't crave ten million dollar houses, exotic cars, or $1,000 bottles of wine

Rose Vidal, www.homebiz4less.com

...So yes, I want to be wildly successful. In practice, so far, I've been  successful. I make a living on the Internet, and live life on my own terms. I don't wear a tie, and don't answer to a boss.

For me, that's turned out to be enough. I find I don't crave ten million dollar houses, exotic cars, or $1,000 bottles of wine. I'm happy, have a wonderful family life, and can afford the things I need.

Guess what? It turns out this is more than enough for me

Advertising and Tools to run and manage your online business

User photo not available Saturday, 30 June 07 - 08:24 PM (GMT)
By Rose Vidal in General

This is why you see so many programs telling you that you can make money for no money and no work or the company will do all the work and you just cash checks.  Deep down, we know this is not possible, but we allow ourselves to be taken in just in case we get lucky and make money.  What you find out after you join these so called free programs is there is a cost--There will always be a cost because unless someone is paying, nobody gets paid!  You'll waste your time, energy and yes you'll waste money for nothing.

1) A solid product, service or program that you believe in and you want to sell.

2) Advertising and Tools to run and manage your online business.

3) Time and patience to get your business started and making money.

Take out any of the above three parts and you don't have a whole and you will not make it online or offline.  Again, the simple truth and maybe not what you want to hear, but what you need to hear.  2Till is full of automated advertising services and tools and resources that will help you make it online, but you have to use them and you have to give yourself time to make it because nothing happens overnight--unless you're a mushroom...

You're building a business and building a business takes time and focus and if you don't focus on your business and give it time to work for you, then don't start working online.

Below are ten simple, but powerful tips to...

User photo not available Saturday, 23 June 07 - 06:27 AM (GMT)

Do you post to message boards, e-mail discussion
lists, classified ads sites, FFA sites or newsgroups?
People will usually read the subject line before they
read your ad or message, so it's important they get
noticed. Below are ten simple, but powerful tips to
get your ads or messages noticed.
1. Use extra white space creatively in your subject
line. You can add extra blank spaces between your
words or letters.
2. Combine capital letters with lower case letters.
Use all capital letters in every other word or use a
capital letter between every other lower case letter.
3. Add text symbols in your subject line. You could
use them between words and letters. Start and end
your subject with a text symbol. ( *, $, >,{,] )
4. Begin your subject line with the word "STOP!".
People have been trained their whole life to stop
what they are doing when they see that word.
5. Ask people a question in your subject line. We
all went to school and were repetitively branded to
answer questions.
6. Use the word "FREE" in your subject line. Your
offer should be attractive to your target audience.
It could be free information, software, trials, etc.
7. Begin your subject line with an "online smile :)".
People use smiles offline to gain people's attention
and to win their trust, why not use them online too.
8. Don't use unbelievable claims in your subject line.
People have or know some who has been ripped
off and trained themselves to ignore those claims.
9. Don't use all capital letters in your subject line.
It is hard to read, looks unprofessional, and on the
internet it's considered a symbol for shouting.
10. Test different subject lines to see which ones
draws the most traffic to your web site. Also, read
the FAQ before posting a message or ad anywhere.

Steps to writing a powerful article

Steps to writing a powerful article

How do you create an article that people want to read? How do you entice them into wanting more? It's not as difficult as you might think.

  1. Determine the topic of your article.
You will first need to decide what general subject want to write about. Will it be about cars, real estate, horses, e-commerce? Once you have a basic area, you will need to focus in on a more specific subject. There are several ways to do this and this lens will cover one specific way.
  2. Research your market for the topic you have selected.
Once you determine a topic, research your target market to determine a specific topic for your article. What specific questions are people asking, or what specific problems are they experiencing that you can help with?
Perform a search online in your area of interest and see what they are talking about. You can also so a search for forums and blogs in your area of interest and see what is being discussed there.
The easiest way to create an article that people find valueable is to actually answer questions that real people are asking.
  3. Find the keywords used by the people of your target market.
This step is important because it tells you how your target market is looking for answers to their questions. You will want to use these keywords in your article.
  4. Brainstorm topics for your articles.
Once you have the information from the previous steps, brainstorm some specific topics you can write about. This process is vital because it will help the creative juices begin to flow. Just begin writing down a bunch of words and phrases that relate to some of the problems people are experiencing, or questions they are asking. You can find a good book about brainstorming from the list below.
  5. Create a Title for the Article
Once you have a good list of topics based on the keywords, and problems/questions of your target market, create an effective article title that will get a reader's interest and entice them to read your article. Good titles include "How To" lists, "Top 10" lists, "Things to Avoid" lists, and many others.
  6. Begin Writing
Now that you have the topic, title, foundation and structure of your article, you can begin writing. Start on the body of the article first. If you have a "Top 10" type of article, then write a paragraph for each of the items in the top 10. Your paragraph should explain why for that item in at least 2 to 3 sentences.
  7. Write the introduction of the article.
Once you have written the entire body of the article, It will be easy to write the introduction. Remember, a basic article starts out with telling the reader what you are going to tell them, then tell them, then tell them what you just told them. After you have written the article, it should be easy to tell them what you just wrote about.
  8. Write the conclusion of your article.
This should be easy because you are re-capping what you just wrote about. If you are promoting a product or service, I find that leaving a question, or giving the reader a teaser of something more is very helpful. I know it isn't proper 'etiquitte', but it helps in leaving the reader wanting more.
  9. Proofread your article
Once you have written it, look it over for grammer, spelling, flow, and if it speaks to the level of your audience. Double check for factual accuracy. If you can, get someone else to read your article
  10. Step away from the article
Don't look at your article for at least 1 day.
Step away and do something else.
  11. Re-read your article and proofread again
You'll be amazed at the way your article reads to you when you look at your article again after some time off. Make the appropriate changes and then you are ready to finish it. If you still aren't happy, repeat steps 9 and 10 again.
  12. It's now time to create your resource box.
The resource box is the place you want to direct the reader to a specific call to action, like signing up for your mailing list, calling you, sending them to your website, or buying a product or service. A good structure for the resource box is to state a problem and what they need to do to avoid it. If you have enough space, it is helpful to leave credentials about who you are, and why they should listen to you.
  13. Let the world know about your article! You can find places to promote your article.

Top Ten Reasons to Write Articles for Free

Top Ten Reasons to Write Articles for Free Publication Online

Top Ten Reasons to Write Articles for Free Publication Online

Many writers struggle with the decision of whether or not to write "for free" - however - unless you are a wealthy, professionally published author - I believe there are many advantages to writing articles and offering them for free publication online.

Writers can truly benefit from submitting their articles to online databases for publishers to view and perhaps choose to publish in their newsletters or on their websites (for free).

Below is my list of the top ten reasons you should write articles and allow them to be published for free online.

  1. The first, most obvious benefit to you as a writer, is the opportunity to get your work published.
  2. The second reason is FREE PUBLICITY! - Most article databases online allow you to include a "resource box" at the end of your article. See
    Part Two
for an index of lists and web sites where you can submit your articles for free publication.
  3. The resource box is your opportunity to SELL yourself, your web site, your products, your services etc... Below is an example of a resource box:
    Resource Box - © Danielle Hollister (2003)
Danielle Hollister is the Writing Host at BellaOnline
    http://www.bellaonline.com/site/writing
and Publisher of BellaOnline's Writing Zine
    http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art157.asp
    to subscribe send email to:
    bellaonlinewriting-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
  4. By writing articles for free publication on a specific topic, you can establish yourself as an expert in that field.
  5. By submitting your work to article databases and allowing newsletters and web sites to publish it for free, you multiply the potential number of visitors to your site dramatically.
(For example: If you write an article and publish it on your website or submit to a paying publication (and it's accepted) - the only people who will see you work and/or visit your web site are either the people who already visit your web site and/or the people who subscribe to the publication that prints your article.
Where as, if you write an article and more than one newsletter and/or web site publishes it, the chances are very good that a significantly larger number of readers will read and/or come to your web site.)
  6. There are literally thousands of newsletters publishers online - all looking for one thing - GREAT CONTENT. Your article(s) (if written well and about a popular subject) are definitely in demand.
  7. It costs you nothing - not a dime - to submit your articles to databases for free publication online. The only thing that's required of you is your time (and your ability to write a good article that people will want to read).
Think about it - is there any other FREE way for writers to get published, recognized and publicized online?
There are two ways to submit your work for possible publication by web sites/newsletters that are seeking submissions from writers for free publication. You can join and distribute your work via announcement lists or submit your articles to online databases.
You will find a list of both in
    Part Two
    of this feature.
  8. You can also target your audience by submitting your articles to individual ezines. Prior to making individual submissions consider these two quick tips:
    • Locate ezine publishers that ACCEPT article submissions
    • Find out what the publisher's guidelines are for article submissions.
You can easily access a list of prospective ezine publishers by visiting my new subtopic
      Ezine - Newsletter Directories
  9. By listing your work in article databases and/or submitting it directly to ezine publishers, you have the opportunity to establish new contacts and lasting relationships with professional publishers online.
Once publishers choose your articles for publication, they usually contact you via email to let you know when your work will be published in their publication (with a link to their web site). Their notification email to you will frequently include an invitation to submit more articles to their publication. (And if they do not directly invite you to contribute, they have still provided with their URL - which allows you to take the initiative to view their publication and consider possible future submissions.)
  10. By getting your articles published online, you have opened the door for more traffic to your web site, new readers (possibly paying publishers and/or agents looking for good writers in a specific field), and name recognition across the web.
Although writing articles for free publication does not pay you directly, it does provide the potential for earning money via product/class/service sales on your web site.

BUYING ANY PRIVATE LABEL RESALE RIGHTS PACKAGE

User photo not available Saturday, 23 June 07 - 06:22 AM (GMT)
By Rose Vidal in General

THE THREE QUESTIONS YOU MUST HAVE ANSWERED BEFORE

BUYING ANY PRIVATE LABEL RESALE RIGHTS PACKAGE

Question #1 - Are people actually searching for

information on this subject?

*************************************************

I know this seems like a no-brainer, but you might want

to think twice before picking up the rights to an eBook

on how to make money scrubbing toilets on the weekends.

Sure, there are people who DO it, but are people

actually looking for information on this subject...

that's the key.

For example, when I was a teenager (many years ago) the

Nintendo Entertainment System was the most popular game

system out there. But now we have game systems like the

XBOX and Sony Playstation 2, and the original Nintendo

is now obsolete.

Sure, you might think that an eBook on how to beat

those old Nintendo games might be a smart investment

(after all, maybe you and your friends still play those

games), but you have to wonder... are people actually

searching for information on these games anymore?

The answer is obviously "no". Sure, there might be a

few stragglers left, but you want to pick a topic that

LOTS of people are actively searching for right now.

One of the best ways to do that is to see how many

searches are done for a given keyword that you're

interested in. You can do this on Overture's website

anytime at this URL:

http://inventory.overture.com

LESSON LEARNED - Just because something SOUNDS like

it's a good idea doesn't mean that people are actually

looking for information on this subject. Always do your

homework first.

*************************************************

Question #2 - Who would want the information that is

presented in this product, and more importantly... do

they have money to spend on it?

*************************************************

One of my marketing buddies came to me all excited one

day, because he had just purchased the private label

rights to some content on how to do fancy "instant

messaging tricks" with AOL instant messenger.

I said, "Well that's great, but have you thought about

who your target market is? Have you thought about WHO

actually searches for this kind of information?"

It was obvious that he hadn't, and when he realized

that his market was mostly teenagers who aren't even

able to order his product with a credit card, he

scrapped the project.

LESSON LEARNED - Make sure you're going after a target

market that has money to spend on your information, and

also has the means to spend that money (a credit card).

*************************************************

Question #3 - Can I customize the content that I'm

buying any way I want?

*************************************************

Since private label resale rights are a relatively new

subject, not everyone who offers them has the same

terms. Some people will only let you change the name of

author and the title of the product, but they won't let

you make changes to the content itself.

This is not good, because it limits how flexible you

can be with your marketing. For example, you might want

to take the raw content and divide it up into premium

quality articles to be used in a members only website.

Or you might want to give away a few chapters of the

eBook in order to build a mailing list. Double check

and make sure that you have the flexibility to do

whatever you want with the content you're buying.

SIDENOTE: Most product developers who are selling

private label resale rights will let you do whatever

you want with the content except sell the resale rights

to it. This is standard practice, so don't be alarmed

if you come across this. After all, if you're selling

the resale rights as well, then you're competing

directly with the product developer, and they don't

want to create any new competition.

LESSON LEARNED - Make sure you have the flexibility to

alter the content that you're buying in any way that

you see fit (within reason).

*************************************************

IN CONCLUSION...

*************************************************

Private label resale rights is a new and exciting area

of marketing that makes it possible for the everyday

person to have a product that they can call their own

(and put their own name on it without having to go

through the trouble of developing the product itself.

Never before has there been an opportunity to create

your own product line like this. If you're interested

in picking up the private label rights to some really

amazing (and profitable) products, then you can do no

better than to check out The Private Rights Members

Only Website.

It's an amazing new site where you can pick up the

rights to products that are ready-to-sell for only

pennies on the dollar. Go ahead and check out this URL

right now, while it's fresh in your mind:
